Skateparks are popping up all over Nova Scotia as more and more communities realize that youth need safe spaces to practise their sport.
Here you will find all types of municipal skateparks, both concrete and modular, temporary and permanent.
As new skatepark initiatives take shape, they will be added to this network, but we will need your help to ensure that we have complete, accurate and current information. If you have a skatepark in your community in Nova Scotia and can't find it here, please contact us to let us know about it. Also, help us keep our Events section current by letting us know about events taking place in your community.
If you are coming to Nova Scotia, bring your helmet (it's the law now), and check out the additional links to help you plan your visit to Canada's Seacoast.
This $600K destination park will be awesome, but they need your help! The Chester Skate Park Committee is issuing a challenge to all skaters and supporters of skateboarding in Canada. There is an estimated 1.3 million skateboarders in Canada, and if only 200,000 of those boarders donate only $1.00 to the Park, the committee will be able to reach its fund raising goals.
For more information, check out the Chester Skatepark website.
