The Annapolis Community Pool will re-open Saturday, June 20, 2009

Thank you everyone who made our first season a smash success!

The Annapolis Community Pool is operated by the Friends of the Annapolis Pool Society. We continue to fundraise for the capital cost of and operating costs for the pool. We always welcome new volunteers. There are many ways to help. We graciously accept donations for our long weekend yard sales and our Farmer's Market table.

Award Winning Achievement!

The Friends of the Annapolis Pool Society received the Bluenose Achievement Award from Recreation Nova Scotia at its awards ceremony in Halifax on November 7, 2008. The Bluenose Achievement Award is presented to volunteers or community organizations to recognize outstanding achievements in the improvement of recreation & leisure opportunities locally, regionally or provincially. The Friends of the Annapolis Pool Society received this award for their instrumental work in bringing about the newly re-opened Annapolis Community Pool last summer.
